Shepherd’s Pie – My recipe for this changes every time I make it but the basics remain ground beef, onions, other vegetables, topped with mashed potatoes, and usually cheese then baked.  There are so many variations you can try and have this still be great comfort food on those cold evenings.  Below is a link to a more “normal” style recipe with measured amounts and such.

Have to go with what was arguably the Beatles first number one song.  It was tops on 4 of 5 major charts of the time.  From Me to You was the first one to make it to number one on all 5.  Of the two this one is my favorite.
